The politics of bodies. For the last four days I see a steady stream of corpses on mainstream US media. I have yet to see a single image of a corpse on US mainstream media from the Iraq War. With tv camera equipped smart bombs and embedded reporters, in some ways we at home experience the battlefield as no one has before. And yet we experience a war with no casualties.
